Features
Here you get an overview of features and opportunities regarding STINGA Monitoring Probe.
Flexible and Scalable
The STINGA Monitoring Probe is a simple Linux-based server. It has a central role in Link Monitoring Systems, and provides flexibility and scalability. A monitoring system can range from one single probe to many distributed probes.
It’s the perfect tool for a growing business.
Real-time and historical network data
STINGA Monitoring Probes monitor in real-time and across multiple interfaces. In addition a probe stores all monitored and raw network data. The data is either stored as flat files or in SQL databases.
Real-time monitoring allows you to become proactive and solve network irregularities before it affects the quality. When storing network data 24/7 you have many opportunities to make network planning easier. Stored data can also be used for documentation, evidence in fraud, and to verify billings.
Multiple interfaces
STINGA Monitoring Probes support multiple TDM, SDH, and Ethernet interfaces. Number of interfaces for each probe can be extended.
CDR generation and correlation can therefore be done across multiple interfaces.
