Real-time monitoring of the ISDN X.25 networkDrammen (Norway), March 28th 2001: The company responsible for the national ISDN X.25 network in Norway, Telenor Business Solutions (TBS), has installed a system for real-time surveillance of the service. This network is used for banking transactions, sending of alarms and other similar transactions not requiring a significant bandwidth. The traffic in this network is therefore very important and this is reflected in the SLA's the customers have with TBS. The new system will send alarms to the management system of TBS so that immediate action can be taken if an incident occurs.
