Updated versions of the STINGA SS7 Monitor and STINGA SS7 Simulator applications are released.
General news:

New Detailed Decoding presentation: Flat (List view) -> structured (tree view).
- Enhanced detailed decoding - more details.
- Connection between Detailed Decoding view and Hex view: When selecting messages/parameters in the Detailed Decoding window, the related hex information is highlighted in the Hex window.
- New Binary and ASCII windows. Highlighted hex information is automatically converted to binary and ASCII information in the Binary and ASCII windows.
- Enhanced Point Code Editor: Support for point codes on hex, decimal and ITU format. One format is automatically calculated when doing modifications to another format.
- The Decode Single Message dialog is renamed to Decode Hex Messages.
- Possible to decode multiple hex messages from the Decode Hex Messages dialog. The hex messages must be separated with a user-specified separator.
- New Protocols dialog. All protocols are decoded automatically, but it is possible to select the type of protocl standards to use for protocol decoding (ITU/ANSI/TTC etc.).
- Added support for TIA/EIA/IS-41-D (ANSI-41 MAP).
- Support for TTC MTP3 and TTC ISUP (Japanese).
- Support for INAP CS2.
- User Part display filter added.
- Multiple Document Interface (MDI): Possible to open multiple log files simultaneously, and possible to open log files at the same time as real-time monitoring is running.
- Separate statusbar for each windows displaying the total messages captures and the number of messages in memory.
- Improved decoding and presentation speed (less delay when capturing high traffic links).
- Extended capture buffers: Max 8 GB of data before reusing capture buffers (dependet of the harddisk space available).
- New feature Show Meesage Range: Possible to select a number of messages and then open these messages in a new window in standard or CDR decode mode.
- No Decoding added to the Decoding menu: Possible to turn off all protocol decoding.
STINGA SS7 Monitor specific news:
- Automatic detection of the type of PIST daughter board on PIST PCI cards.

- STINGA SS7 Monitor is now supporting decoding of the Bearer Independent Call Control (BICC) protocol due to the termination of the STINGA BICC Monitor product.
STINGA SS7 Simulator specific news:
- New IUP Call and Release Call dialogs.
- Enhanced SCCP Parameter Builder for manipulating higher layer protocols:
- New dialogs for Short Message Service (SMS) and MAP Forward Short Message (FSM)
- Enhanced dialog for SCCP Called/Calling Party Address
- New DTMF generator: No need for a pause between sending of DMFT "strings". DTMF tones can be sent much faster that with the previous DTMF generator. The tone level is a bit lower with the new generaor.
Automatic SCCP Management (specified in the Settings dialog).
- Updated script commands related to TTC Point Code settings:
dpc <Zone>-<Area>-<Point Code Id>;
opc <Zone>-<Area>-<Point Code Id>
- Updated script command related to Priority setting:
The "set priority <value>;" command sets bit 8 and bit 7 in the Li (Length Indicator) for TTC (Japanese),
otherwise the spare bits in the Service Indicator Octet (SIO) is used (ref. G.704 - use of spare bits for
national priority).
