A new V5 instrument is introduced

Grimstad (Norway), March 29th, 2004: Utel Systems has introduced a new V5 test instrument for protocol testing and simulation in a V5 environment.

The new instrument is based on the existing PCMCIA card technology which the SS7 and ISDN PRA solutions are based on. The V5 simulator is however a more complex product as a multiple set of simulators are working together in parallel when testing different protocols.

Both Local Exchange (LE) and Access Network (AN) are supported. Utel Systems' new user interface - which is a Windows XP "look-and-feel" concept - is used for the new V5 protocol monitor and protocol simulator. The product is immediately available.
