International sales through distributors increases

Drammen (Norway), July 30^th, 2002: Investments of test equipment and support systems has been slow in the telecommunication market since the summer of 2001. Players in this arena has focused on cost savings and freezing of investment budgets. Utel Systems has in this period worked very active with establishing and training new distributors throughout the world in order to be prepared and better represented as the market stabilizes.

Sales and Marketing Manager Henning Bakken says that sales through Utel Systems' distributors has increased the last year. "We have focused on a limited number of countries and has been very careful in entering new Distribution Agreements. We have recognised the importance of finding the "correct" distributor with the right profile - both with respect to existing products, competence and market focus."

Utel Systems is now represented in most of the European countries, Australia, USA and several Asian countries.
