- NGN protocol analysis
- Focusing on SS7oIP, SIGTRAN, SIP and SIP-T
- Connecting to standard Network Interface Cards (10/100Mbps) on notebook/desktop computers
- Upgradeable to NGN protocol simulation:
- STIGNA SS7 Simulator – SS7oIP through SCTP/M3UA
- STINGA SIP Simulator
- Monitoring NGN protocols at Ethernet interfaces
- Supporting notebook/desktop computers running Windows 2000 or Windows XP
- Supported protocols are decoded down to detailed level
- Messages are decoded in a very user friendly manner
- Supporting national protocol variants
- Hex decoding: Hex messages imported from other systems are fully decoded
- Call Trace view based on Call Detail Records (CDRs) for SIP, H.248/Megaco and SS7oIP
- Quality of Service (QoS) reports based on SS7oIP CDRs (SS7 carried by M3UA, M2UA or SUA)
- A powerful CDR search engine is included
- Expandable to NGN simulation

- Error tracking: Comprehensive protocol decoding of all user parts and protocol layers enables the user to track and search for protocol irregularities
- Knowledge of the network: Generating QoS reports is an important way to get knowledge of a network
- Documentation of a network or part of a network: QoS reports make it possible to document the monitored network.

Comprehensive decoding of IP/TCP/UDP/SCTP protocols, and applications like Megaco, MGCP, SNMP, SIP and DNS. Decoding of SS7oIP inclusive MTP, ISUP, TUP, SCCP, TCAP, INAP, MAP, CAP, GSM/CDMA A-interface and IS-41 is provided. The decoding is displayed in English. A monitored signalling sequence can be stored on hard disk either as screen dumps (ASCII or HTML) holding the complete detailed decoding, or binary files. The stored information can be retrieved at any time using the same monitor or an ASCII/HTML editor. Long duration monitoring by automatic storage to hard disk is also possible. The amount of information that can be collected is then only limited by the size of the hard disk. To find errors and signalling problems, it is possible to search for a text.
